This 1971 AAS Winner is both an annual and perennial with usual flower size, which is quite outstanding. Southern Belle produces flowers about 10 inches (25 cm.) in diameter or more in colors of red, rose pink, pink, white and pink & white bicolor. Grows well both in moist as well as ordinary soil attaining a height of about 5 feet (150 cm.) at full maturity. Southern Belle will produce almost 100% gigantic flowers from seed the same year, if planted early in the season. NOTICE: In order to hasten germination, all Hibiscus seeds are scarified. No further treatment is necessary.
